CANbus / Control Area Network busStandard specified by Bosch, which introduced the current versions 2.0A and 2.0B in 1991. It is now used for a wide area of applications including automotive, truck, bus, marine, medical, construction and factory automation. It is also a basis for some other protocols like CANOpen, DeviceNet, SDS and NMEA-2000.
Profibus / Professional Field busAn open standard introduced by Siemens for PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) communication.
EthernetStandard primarily used for Computer networks, including computer peripherals.
